Groundwater Wells

Copco Summer Residents

We know some residents may be returning to Copco for the warmer months. If any Copco summer residents notice any issues related to their groundwater well production as a result of reservoir drawdown, please contact KRRC directly at info@klamathrenewal.org or 510-560-5079.

While scientific analysis suggests that very few existing groundwater wells around Copco were hydrologically linked to the reservoir, some wells may have experienced production impacts after reservoir drawdown. Should any resident notice impacts to their well production, KRRC will coordinate directly with the resident to ensure temporary safe drinking water.
